For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Why we give.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8 says, "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work" (NIV).

We give because we know that in all things, it is God who supplies. We give, because the ministries of Cross Roads Church depend upon the faithful who recognize God's sovereignty in it all and contribute out of obedience and generous hearts. We give, because there is need and we know God provides; we give, because God first loved us and gave His only Son for us. We give because we acknowledge who God is and want to help others in need.
