Cheryl and I were driving through the countryside on a state highway in Illinois the other day. We noticed a cloud of smoke rising on the horizon in front of us for some time. It looked like an entire town was on fire. When we finally caught up to the flames, we saw that a farmer was doing a controlled burn to clear off some of his fields. All was well.  

In this week’s lesson, the Nation of Israel saw God as a powerful fire. Join us on Sunday as we begin a new study from Numbers 9:15-23 together.  

As a reminder, the Trustees Committee is hosting an inventory counting day this Saturday, April 22 starting at 10 in the morning. Come to the church and help us count everything in sight.
