Cross Roads Staff

The staff at Cross Roads Anderson believes in the power of Jesus to influence and change our hearts and lives. Therefore, as Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We have the deepest desire to love and follow Jesus with all that we have--and obedience in following Him is the key that allows us to be His instruments!

Welcome to Cross Roads’ Staff Page. We are excited you stopped by and we would love to see you in person!

We are a team dedicated to Jesus first and one another second. We seek to lean-in to Christlike obedience to God and to see Him glorified in all that we say and do!

Rev. Shannon M. Rogers, MDiv
Pastor since September 1st, 2025

Pastor Shannon comes from a long life lived in local church ministry. From a young age, Pastor Shannon sensed God’s call on her life. She has served in a variety of capacities within the church: Worship ministry (having served many churches leading worship), teaching, preaching, and leading Bible studies.

Professionally, Shannon served 23 years in medical imaging and sensed a call from God to return to school. As a result, she did just that, earning both her bachelor’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University in Biblical Studies and moved into her Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary. During that time, she served the admissions team at IWU National & Global and then served as the Associate Director of Admissions at Wesley Seminary. Both of these roles served her well in ministry and as she stepped into pastoral ministry, honed and shaped her leadership capabilities

Previously, Pastor Shannon pastored in Parker City, Indiana, as well. She is excited to step into leadership at Cross Roads and desires to see the Church meet the spiritual needs of the Anderson community through the guidance of the Holy Spirit at work!

Steve Rushton
CONGREGATIONAL CARE/PRAYER MINISTRY LIAISON

Steve serves as our congregational care pastor. He provides communion to a local retirement community, provides visitation to our shut-ins, and general support to those who are hospitalized and ill. He also has a passion for our prayer ministry at Cross Roads, which is just now getting off the ground. We expect great things, as Cross Roads seeks to follow God’s lead in obedience. Steve desires to see our congregation gain a comprehensive understanding of who Jesus Christ is and the great lengths He went to bring salvation to all.

Richard Geisler
Praise band Director since 2019

Richard is responsible for programming, rehearsing, and leading music for our weekly worship services. He enjoys programming around the liturgical calendar, so although the music at Cross Roads is primarily contemporary in nature, some of our favorite traditions include the Christmas Concert Band and Choir in the month of December and our Irish Band for St. Patrick’s Sunday! William Cowper once penned that “variety is the spice of life.” Consider the music at Cross Roads to be well-seasoned!

Garri George
Pianist Since 2019

Garri is a talented pianist and he plays for Cross Roads’ weekly services. This includes congregational singing with hymns during our traditional service, and plays for our contemporary service, as well.

Bill Bercik
Choir Director Since 2022

Bill serves Cross Roads Church in a variety of ways, including scheduling and planning our music and worship services. He is a pillar in our church community and seeks to see God glorified in the way in which we conduct our services.

Joshua Stowers
Audio/Visual Director since 2018

Joshua is Cross Road’s technical go-to individual. He works to make our audio-visual presence impactful, often working behind the scenes that services flow smoothly and without a hitch. Joshua also works on making our services available through online resources, such as YouTube.

Pam Flesher
Treasurer/Business Admin Since 2012

Pam is responsible for ensuring our financial status at Cross Roads is above board. She handles all of our billing and payroll services and is an integral part of seeing that Cross Roads Church functions as it should. She enjoys her work at Cross Roads Global Methodist Church because she knows that she represents the Holy Spirit in all she does.

Kathy Kellams
Office Admin since 2006

Kathy is the Office Administrator and serves Cross Roads Church in many capacities. Kathy also helps to keep our church calendar on track. She is in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays and has been a part of this church since 2006. She serves the church wearing many hats, covering our phones, answering questions, and seeking to serve the kingdom of God well!

We pray to see you at Cross Roads soon!
