The staff at Cross Roads Anderson believes in the power of Jesus to influence and change our hearts and lives. Therefore, as Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We have the deepest desire to love and follow Jesus with all that we have--and obedience in following Him is the key that allows us to be His instruments!
As the Thanksgiving season turns into the Christmas season, we will see more decorations around our town. These decorations will often include a manger scene to remind us of Jesus’ birth. In this week’s lesson, we will be reminded of John the Baptist’s birth, which took place a few months before Jesus’.
