Cross Roads Staff

The staff at Cross Roads Anderson believes in the power of Jesus to influence and change our hearts and lives. Therefore, as Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We have the deepest desire to love and follow Jesus with all that we have--and obedience in following Him is the key that allows us to be His instruments!

Cheryl and I were visiting our grandsons the other day. Beau and I were outside tossing a baseball, as we normally do. I was getting tired, as I normally do. That’s when I realized it was after 9:00 in the evening. I was re-energized. How often can we be outside playing ball that late at night?

In this week’s lesson, the land of Egypt experienced a deep darkness in the middle of the day. It is possible that a few baseball-tossing grandpas were happy that day. Join us on Sunday as we study Exodus 10:21-29 together.

As a reminder: If you would like to become a member here at Cross Roads UMC, membership classes begin tonight. I would like for everyone to take this class whether you are transferring from another church or establishing membership for the first time. I think it is a good way to get to know the Preacher and his wife. We will meet at 6:00 in our fellowship hall.

Dear friends, we are blessed,

PaRick
