Cross Roads Staff

The staff at Cross Roads Anderson believes in the power of Jesus to influence and change our hearts and lives. Therefore, as Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We have the deepest desire to love and follow Jesus with all that we have--and obedience in following Him is the key that allows us to be His instruments!

The snow has been flying all morning. It is a great day to drink some hot chocolate as we avoid going outside. There are some people who must brave the snow and the elements to tend to their work. I am thankful for those who are willing to risk their own safety to serve our community.

In this week’s lesson,  Jesus teaches us that we should be mindful of ways we can serve others. Join us on Sunday as we study Mark 10:35-45.

In other news from the church office:

Yes, we are canceling our Wednesday and Thursday activities at the church. Let me spell this out, we are canceling our Wednesday evening activities including the meal, the study group, and choir practice. We are also canceling Thursday activities, including the morning study class.

Enjoy a snow holiday. We will see you on Sunday.

Also from the church office:

Roger Gillam asked for prayer for his friend, Rick Cole. Rick Cole is currently in the ICU suffering from an autoimmune problem.

Dear friends, we are blessed,

PaRick
