Cheryl and I went to some fancy restaurant when we were in the south a few years ago. After we placed our order, the waitress brought us a small cutting board with a round, flat something on it. I asked the girl, “What is this?” She told us that it was some kind of fancy bread. I thought, “This is not how they serve bread where I come from.”
In this week’s lesson, Israel is introduced to a bread substance called manna. They were not sure what it was. They were sure it tasted good. Join us on Sunday as we study Exodus 16:10-20 together.
In other news from the church office: The trustees are hosting a clean-up day on Saturday, August 20. They hope to remove these fallen trees and branches during that time. They also hope to clean out a few areas of the garage. You are invited to come and clean up our grounds as you are able from 9 to noon on Saturday.
Dear friends, we are blessed,
PaRick
