Cross Roads Staff

The staff at Cross Roads Anderson believes in the power of Jesus to influence and change our hearts and lives. Therefore, as Colossians 3:17 says, "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." We have the deepest desire to love and follow Jesus with all that we have--and obedience in following Him is the key that allows us to be His instruments!

I went upstairs at our house to get something the other day. When I entered the upper room, one cat was under a table. The other cat was at the other end of the room behind a chair. Both were crouched, looking like they were ready to attack. Until they saw me. Then both of them tried to look innocent. I felt like I had walked in on the youth group doing something they should not be doing.

In this week’s lesson, Jesus walks in on Peter, James, and John. They were doing something that they should not be doing. I am guessing Jesus didn’t think they looked cute. Join us on Sunday as we study Mark 14:37-42 together.

As a reminder we will celebrate the life of Mary Sizelove’s daughter, Betty, this coming Saturday, March 4 at our church. It will be a casual, open house-type event from 11 to 2. Please come and go as you would like.

This coming Saturday, March 4, 11 to 2, come and share with Mary Sizelove and her family in this time of loss.

Dear friends, we are blessed,

PaRick
