In this age of contagious diseases, it is often difficult to visit someone in the hospital. Before these restrictions where in place, it was common to visit friends and family when they were in the hospital. When a family gave birth to a baby, the room was often filled with all kinds of friends and family celebrating with them.  

In this week’s lesson, we will see how the entire town came together to celebrate when Elizabeth gave birth to John the Baptist. There was much joy and a little controversy.
